townhouse plants in front: approved, un-allowed / in back: patio & carport
The following plants are APPROVED for Woodehaven townhome front gardens: (If you would like to install a plant not on this list, please submit to the Board for consideration.)

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SUBMIT A REQUEST TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS BEFORE REMOVING OR PLANTING ANYTHING IN THE FRONT GARDEN AREA OF YOUR TOWNHOME -- EVEN IF IT IS ON THIS APPROVED LIST
The following items are ** NOT ALLOWED ** in townhome front gardens:
No vegetable plants. This includes tomato plants, cabbage plants, beans, etc...
No fences, trellises, or hanging planters on front of townhomes or in garden areas.
No flowering plants that grow higher than three (3) feet tall, such as sunflowers.
No lava rocks, marble or stone chips, or pine bark nuggets; only pinestraw can be used.
Nothing should be planted that uses the townhome walls for support. No plants that use the building to climb such as climbing roses, ivy, etc... These plants can be used as long as they are kept cut back and do not climb the walls of the townhome.
No cactus plants or plants with sharp points or edges. Rose bushes are the only exception.
The following rules apply to plants in the BACK of townhomes:
Planters are allowed only in the Patio area of the rear side of your townhome.
Any plants kept in the carport must be within the parameters of the carport fencing.
Nothing should be planted that uses the townhome walls for support.
No trees inside back patios or on the front of townhomes without approval of the Woodehaven Board of Directors.
